Does anyone remember what it was like to not have worries??

To just have fun, be free, not think about the future or problems you're having, but just play and laugh and watch tv for hours or read a good book without interuptions or other thoughts running through your head? You're just living in that moment. No thoughts of school, work, bills, what career you're going to finally decide on, what job you need to get, how your bills are going to get paid, how you're going to get food on the table for your child, how you're going to buy that new vehicle you desperately need to get you from point A to point B..

I just want a day to enjoy life, to stop and "smell the roses". To just sit outside on a summer day, not thinking about what time it is and what I should be doing, but instead, listening to nature or the cars passing by, or watching the birds flying in the sky or looking for worms in the ground, or watching a cat chase a butterfly. Or perhaps sitting on the porch-swing for hours reading a good book and only getting up for the necessities, like eating.

I miss being able to enjoy things to the fullest, without thinking about all the worries of life. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Some of us may have even forgotten what it's like to feel anything else but worry. So this post is to you. Take a day for yourself and have some fun. Just do whatever you like and enjoy the most. Don't worry. Just be free.
