Happy Haul-idays Wishlist

Hey guys! Chronicle Books is having their 2nd Annual Happy Haul-idays Giveaway! If you don't know what that is, let me explain. By entering the contest, you have a chance to win up to $500 worth of books for not only yourself, but someone who comments on your wishlist and also a charity of your choice!
How to Enter:
Go to chroniclebooks.com/happyhaulidays
Write a blog post with a list of Chronicle Books valued at up to $500 that you'd like.
Choose a charity and explain why you chose that charity.
Fill out the form on Chronicle's website.
Tweet about the giveaway using #happyhaulidays to get one extra entry per day to increase your chances.
If you would like a list of Chronicle books to choose from, you can go to chroniclebooks.com.

Here is my wishlist:
Prisoners in the Palace by Michaela MacColl
The Space Between Trees by Kate Williams
Blue Plate Special by Michelle D. Kwasney
A Dog is a Dog by Stephen Shaskan
Only in Dreams by Paul Frank Industries
Learning to Ski with Mr. Magee by Chris Van Duson
Day and Night by Teddy Newton
Shakespeare's Love Sonnets
Wildflower: A Novel by Nick Bantock and Edoardo Ponti
The Wishing Box by Dashka Slater
The Venetian's Wife by Nick Bantock
Griffin and Sabine by Nick Bantock
Sabine's Notebook by Nick Bantock

The charity I would choose to receive up to $500 in books would be United Through Reading. I would love to be able to help give books to children to instill a love of reading. United Through Reading gives books to children whose families are separated and encourage them to read aloud together so that they may continue to bond with those parents who are over seas. According to their website, they offer "deployed parents the opportunity to be video-recorded reading storybooks to their children". I think this is fantastic and I would love to be able to give this charity up to $500 worth of books for these children.

If you would like to know more about this organization, or would like to donate, visit the website at http://www.unitedthroughreading.org/

Also, don't forget that if you don't have a blog but would like a chance to win, you can comment on any of the Chronicle Books wishlists to have a chance to win. If you would like a chance to win my wishlist, just leave a comment below.
