Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?
Most people probably won't agree with me on this answer but I've always thought that The Notebook the movie was better than The Notebook the book. It probably comes from the fact that I watched the movie countless times before I actually read the book so I was completely in love with the movie long before I ever picked up the book. Don't get me wrong, I'm in no way dissing the book. I loved it as well, but the movie holds a bigger place in my heart.

I actually do agree with you. I read the book and saw the movie. And even though I originally thought the dialogue was stilted in the movie at first I kept watching it over and over. The film somehow has a way of digging it's claws into you and really evoking an emotional reaction (Damn you Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling for being so beautiful!)

I picked the same one. I enjoyed the movie way more, in fact I didn't think the book was that great. It was an easy pick for me.

I have that on my list, I actually really loved the movie and I enjoyed the book - But I do have to admit that I think I love the movie way more! Heehee, I think it has something to do Ryan Gosling.
